“I believe that The Way to Happiness is definitely beneficial because without road maps on how to do the right thing you don’t know how to do it. Having books written like The Way to Happiness is definitely what we need.”

“The goals, the patterns and the methods of The Way to Happiness seem to me to be about as dramatic a response to the prayers of the forefathers as could possibly be contrived. Methodic, faceted ways to improve the moral, the physical and the intellectual aspects of the culture in which we live.”
Alex Haley, Author of ROOTS

The Way to Happiness Booklet

One of the key elements that make the United in Peace movement successful are the peace materials it offers as tools to the people of our communities.

The Way to Happiness is known the world over as a common-sense, non-religious guide to better living that inspires greater tolerance and understanding between families, friends and communities. Wherever the booklet has been broadly distributed, the result has been typically reduced conflict and crime.

The Way to Happiness holds the Guinness Book of World Records’ mark as the most translated book on Earth. In 111 languages, over 100 million copies of The Way to Happiness have been distributed in 205 countries and territories.

Now, through the Peace Rides, this booklet is provided as a means for people of our community to help point the way to a less dangerous and happier life for others.

The Million Man March Pledge

The Million Man March is remembered and revered for many reasons, including the pledge taken by over one million people on the National Mall that historic day. That the event preceded significant increases in voter registration and membership in community and religious groups throughout the inner cities is no coincidence. For the pledge urges setting aside dispute and conflict to unite in a combined effort to create a more loving and productive society.

Since October 2012, the Peace Rides have been distributing this pledge to one and all so its timeless words of atonement, reconciliation and recommitment may serve as a reminder of how we can achieve the peace and prosperity we desire as a community.

I (SAY YOUR NAME) PLEDGE…

“…that from this day forward I will strive to love my brother as I love myself.”

“…from this day forward will strive to improve myself spiritually, morally, mentally, socially, politically, and economically for the benefit of myself, my family, and my people.”
