In July 2012 the Nation of Islam initiates Unity Marches in the urban blighted areas of cities across the United States. In Los Angeles hundreds of the Brothers from the Fruit of Islam take to the streets of neighborhoods seldom visited by outsiders to connect with people of the community in a demonstration of unity and peace. The response is overwhelming. The United in Peace movement is born.
